The Story Behind Real Shin Chan
The
animated series, crayon Shin Chan has been one of the most popular animated
series coming from Japan. It has gained a lot of popularity even in India and
is watched by all age groups from children to adults. It used to act like an
antidepressant in my life. Whenever I used to be depressed, Shin Chan was the
cure.
Usui
Yoshihito (1958-2009) is considered to be the father of the shin chan. In
August 1990, the series began rolling on Weekly Manga Action. An animated
series on this comics that we today see as the Crayon Shin Chan animated series
began in 1992 and gained massive popularity in the year 1993.
Behind
all the fun and laughter that Shin Chan ever spread, there is a very sad story
that the Japanese come up with. The
story is about a woman called Misae. This lady had two children, a baby boy
known as Shin Chan and a baby girl named Himawari. Yes, you guessed it right,
the cartoon series is all about her family.
One
fine day, Shin Chan saw that his baby sister was going to meet an accident and
tried to save her. Unfortunately, both the children lost their lives in this
accident. Their mother was in a chronic shock for several months. After some
months, she started drawing crayon sketches of herself and her children
imagining how her children would be if they were alive. The title Crayon Shin
Chan was used because she drew the images using crayons and the pictures were
all about her son, Shin Chan. I never thought the story behind such a hilarious
series would turn out to be so tragic so just wanted to share with the world.
